PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)


We are looking for a qualified mechanical engineer for the China heat transfer engineering team. The job includes the following duties:

Execution of all heat transfer projects from customer order placement, handover to engineering, through design clarification, manufacturing, assembly, design verification, installation and final hand over to customer, including final documentation control.
Hand over from sales including technical clarifications with customer on the agreed specifications
Preparation of the project plan from order to hand over, creation of ITP and MDR
Preparation and management of the project time line and key deliverables.
Facilitate regular review meetings with necessary internal departments and customer to assist with on time on budget delivery.
Work with pressure vessel engineer to coordinate final design including pressure vessel calculations in accordance with the local or export requirements.
Coordinate the manufacturing and testing schedule with operations to ensure on time delivery
Prepare final documentation pack, including MDR's, Material certificates, test certificates, pressure vessel design verification and where necessary design registration with local authorities.
Assist with customer training; hand over, startup supervision and troubleshooting when necessary.


Requirements:

· University education in mechanical engineer or similar

· Proven track record or experience in project management

· Experience in working with MNC dealing with overseas principles

· Knowledge about the different design codes for pressure vessels (PED, A.S.M.E., GB150, ISPESL etc.)

· Knowledge in material engineering

· Knowledge in welding technology

· Experience with 3D CAD software e.g. Inventor
