Essential duties and responsibilities of position
? Lead the development of market insights from cross-client sourcing activity and collaborate with the Procurement Category function to share best practices.
? Design and develop relevant RFP documents for projects or make recommendations for incumbent negotiations; Drive and manage analytical efforts in areas specific to business function and industry focus
? Negotiate agreement with supplier and incorporate best practice metrics for agreements to aid the Category Management process in SRM activities; (May be responsible for contracting negotiated agreement)
? Pursue and develop senior level stakeholder relationships at priority accounts; support account stakeholder relationship plans
? Ability to lead and manage multiple projects at any given time from start to finish, communicating with a variety of stakeholders (internally and externally).

The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Required
? Language skills Proficient Japanese + at least acceptable business English + Native Chinese
? Consulting, project management experiences or sourcing background
? 6yrs+ work experiences in Japan or with large Japanese companies in China is preferred
? Preferred education background/degree in Japan
? Team management experience is a plus, but not a must
? A degree in a quantitative discipline (business/finance/economics /engineering mathematics) from a top tier university
? Deep knowledge of sourcing or category management process within Fortune 500 organizations
? Demonstrated ability to effectively manage a wide range of suppliers.
? Well-developed, solution-oriented selling skills
? Ability to drive transformational change
? Excellent communication, time management and problem solving skills
? Solid multi-phase project management skills
? Strong ability to effectively manage in a matrix organizational structure working with multiple internal clients
? Ability to adapt to the varied corporate cultures and organizational structures of our customers
? Exceptional track record of building relationships with stakeholders or customers that have resulted in high customer satisfaction
