As Configuration Management Officer, you are responsible to develop and administrate configuration management system, which sustains Thales IOT products development and project management.

    

In addition, you develop and manage infrastructure of continuous integration, project source repository, build environment, and release mechanism for the local team; as well as secure data synchronization with internal and external partners.

    

 

    

TASKS

    

The responsibility includes:

    

• Align CM project requirements und creation of CM plans
• Sketch and setup global cross-site data exchange
• Manage development environment, Continuous Integration and Build Tool Chain
• Manage development server, administrate access control and security.
• Create software releases (Import, Merge, Build)
• Support employees on personal level in CM topics
• Continuous improvement and documentation of the CM concept/Tool Chain
• Support and coordinate CMOs at other sites with possible travel activity.

    

    

SKILLS / EXPERIENCE

    

• Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Computer Engineering or relevant fields.
• Experiences of 0-2 in the area of software development
• Knowledge about build-systems (e.g. Make, Ant, MSBuild)
• Experiences in script and programming languages (Perl, Python etc.)
• Experiences in Software Configuration Management (e.g. CI, GIT) and the capability of administration virtual machines/server (Linux, Windows)
• Experiences with git, gitlab or similar source code version control system administration.
• Good level of written and spoken English
• Well-structured working method, sense of ownership and responsibility,  excellent team player.
