职位描述

Job Requirements:

The successful candidate will be responsible for onsite management of overall quality processes at a key Synaptics Contract Manufacturer or other major supplier. The candidate will be responsible for managing Supplier production quality for all Synaptics products, for tracking and evaluating the Supplier quality data and driving yield improvements, for performing regular audits of the supplier production areas and driving supplier process improvements, for managing the Synaptics onsite Source Inspection resources and processes to ensure every unit shipped carries the Synaptics seal of approval and for ensuring that all the relevant supplier's processes meet Synaptics requirements and specifications.

Prepare CM/Supplier quality data reports for weekly, monthly and quarterly reviews with Synaptics management. Hold onsite quality data reviews at least weekly with the CM/Supplier;
Identify yield and other quality concerns and manage CM/Suppliers to make improvements to achieve measurable quality improvements as demonstrated by key quality metrics trends;
Assess CM/Supplier capability to meet Synaptics requirements and specifications for new products and technologies.Work with the CM/Supplier and Synaptics engineering and operations to address identified gaps;
Responsible for assuring all products shipped by the CM/Supplier to Synaptics customers deliver the level of quality and customer satisfaction consistent with the Synaptics brand as a best-in-class supplier of Touch products;
Directly monitor the production lines every day for compliance with procedures and policies;
Work with CM/Supplier to ensure rigorous closed loop corrective actions for all identified discrepancies from PMP audits, Customer audits, daily monitoring and quality data tracking. Track audits, CAPAs, responses and closures in Synaptics PQM system;
Define and specify the implementation of standards, methods, and procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating the precision, accuracy, and reliability of Synaptics products in the CM/Supplier;
Develop and maintain close partnership and collaborative working relationship with key partner functions across Synaptics including Manufacturing Engineering, NPPG, and worldwide Design Centers, Customer Care Managers, Customer Support Engineers, Applications Engineering, Planning and others;
Responsible for maintaining fully documented ISO9001 compliant processes and participating in ISO audits when required.

Qualifications Requirement:

5+ years quality management tools experience at related fields with BSME/EE degree;
Excellent communication skills (writing & verbal) in both Chinese and English;
Strong quality Engineering process experience and knowledge in the supply chain functions;
Strong ability to change control process design;
Semiconductor, other component / product company, Fab and Fabless experience is a high want;
Cost reduction methodologies, lean manufacturing, TQM experience a high want;
Demonstrated successful management of CM/Supplier quality systems, quality data, yield management, production processes and process improvement resulting in high yield high quality shipments to customers;
Rigorous audit experience and demonstrated ability to drive effective closed loop corrective action;
In-depth knowledge and systematic use of statistical tools, SPC, DOE, Six Sigma techniques, effective project management, program management and formal problem analysis methodologies;
Knowledge of industry standards -Environmental compliance (RoHS, HF, REACH), IPC standards, ISO standards, JDEC standards, mil-std, etc;
Willing and able to travel internationally.

Optional (and will be considered Plus)

Quality Engineering process experience and knowledge of following processes is a plus Flexible substrates, SMT, Chip on Flex, Visual Inspections , ACF bonding with PET and FPC, ACF bonding with glass and FPC, ultra-thin LGA on flex, Clean room management, PET-to-glass and glass-to-glass lamination, BGA on flex, complex mechanical assemblies;
Mobile phone, LCD, Sensor, and hand-held devices manufacturing experience;
Multi-layer PC board and Flexible circuits manufacturing process knowhow;
Exposure to different assembly processes;
Knowledge of Social Responsibility requirements (e.g. EICC);
Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent certification;
