 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 KYC/ CDD related

·       Collate client information/documents from internal and external sources

·       Assess gathered information for accuracy, completeness and validity

·       Carry out name screening of entity, directors, beneficial owners, senior management via the firm’s screening tools

·       Read, analyze and assess articles for applicability on case being worked on. Additional research to be done via approved sources to support findings

·       Assists customers in procedures and activities related to the review and monitoring of Customer Due Diligence (KYC) documentation in compliance with internal and local banking regulation;

·       Supports the relevant units of the branch in CDD (KYC) procedures for Corporates clients and Financial institutions

 Other ad hoc tasks

·       Handling inquiries from other relevant internal/ external units.

·       Supports Corporate Coverage with standard and compliance reporting requirement

·       Supports ad hoc project requirement

Knowledge/Experience:

·       1 – 2 years’ experience in banking, finance,

·       Knowledge of local regulatory KYC/AML requirement

Skills: 

·       Proficient use of Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, Access)

·       Languages:  English

·       Other languages an advantage

·       Proficient use of KYC applications (an advantage)

·       Excellent oral and written communication skills
