   1. Product development - Product evaluation and risk assessment

•   Pre-production and production sample product review  to ensure alignment with european standards together with risk assessment;

• Through regular visit in factories, to ensure factories’s understanding of OEJ’s requirements;

• Support to product development team (industrial leaber) on product construction

  2. Inspection coordination and support for testing

•   Coordination of final random inspection with supplier and third party inspection company according to Oxybul Eveil&Jeux (OEJ) policy;

• Support to product development team (industrial leader) in case of fail testing: coordination between laboratory, factory, brand and product development;

• Perform follow-up actions on failed inspections and testing, such as to investigate the problem and provide solution - follow-up of Corrective Action Plan (CAP);

• Handle post shipment inspection and customer complaint with supplier.

   3. Documentation preparation

•   Collection of all required documentation for Toy’s regulation and safety - Technical Data Verification (TDV);

• Review test’s report and validation;

• Consolidation of all documentation for importation of toys in Europe - Declaration of Conformity (DoC);

• Signature of DoC and make all documents available on time.

Profile:  

• Bachelor degree in Engineering, quality or related field

• Minimum 5 years relevant working experience in Quality Assurance and toys safety testing

• Strong knowledge of EN71 toy safety standards and New Toys Safety Standard (2009/48/EC)

• Good analytical and problem solving techniques

• Familiar with furniture and is an extra advantage

• Confident at working with supplier/ factory, third party labs, quality assurance colleagues in France, merchandising team (industrial leader) in charge of production development and capacity planner

• Ability to work in autonomy - reporting to office manager based in Hong Kong

• Good communication skill

• Good command of English
