Responsibilities include:

? Strategy: work with Head of Recruitment to develop and refine strategy for

searches assigned. Execute search strategy and provide regular and timely

information to keep clients apprised of progress.

? Research: identify potential candidates and target companies via online

resources such as LinkedIn, WPP’s proprietary database, our extensive

network and other resources. Continue to enhance research skills and

knowledge by keeping abreast of market trends and developments.

? Interview: reaching out to potential C-suite candidates, meeting and building

relationship with them, writing their profiles and sharing informed insights with

key stakeholders.

? Reference checking candidates.

? Involvement in activities outside the search process may also be required; for

example courtesy meetings; special talent projects.

? Occasional travel may be required for conducting searches outside Shanghai.

Key Skills/Experience and Characteristics:

? Able to communicate professionally in English and Mandarin, both written and

oral.

? Minimum of 5 years’ experience in global multinational and multi-cultural

business environment. Experience in marketing services is not necessary.

? Solid track record of engaging and influencing at C-level, with gravitas to

present as a credible expert and the confidence to act as a true talent partner.

? Personal maturity and good judgment are essential. Teamwork and a

partnership spirit are required.

? Discretion and sensitivity ‐ we cannot emphasise strongly enough how

important this is, indiscretion impacts career and livelihood.

? Proactive, self-motivated, and detail oriented whilst not losing track of the big

picture.

? Able to grasp concepts quickly, manage a demanding search load, balance

multiple tasks and switch gears while maintaining priorities.

? Undergraduate degree required.
