Job Description:

In this position, you will be responsible for working together with both Technology development department and High Volume Manufacturing department to collecting the manufacturing process/recipe information, quantification of chemical inputs and mass balancing of chemical outputs as air emissions, wastes shipped offsite, and wastewater emissions. You will also be responsible for support for facilities E level system development of wastewater, water/UPW and air abatement systems, of developing TD EHS/S processes, systems and specs, in coordination with Facilities Development Engineering.

Primary ownership responsibilities are to:

· Build and maintain models and projections for all chemicals used onsite that comprise environmental permitted parameters

· Build and implement chemical sampling and analytical plans in support of modeling efforts

· Complete statistical evaluations of data to determine variability and sufficient sample size

· Perform continues risk assessment of emission levels against code/regulation requirement.

· Build and communicate projected environmental compliance performance to larger teams and stakeholders

· Work within teams to develop meaningful action plans to support manufacturing by ensuring ongoing environmental compliance over time

· Patterner with process engineering and facility engineering team to develop EHS related equipment/system design criteria

· Participate design reviews for first of a kind process tools and first of a kind waste treatment system.

Qualifications:

· Masters or PhD degree involving major study in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Material Science or related field

· Fluency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

· Good interpersonal skills and team player

· Ability to work effectively as an individual with minimal direction, and as part of a larger team

· Strong communication skills, both written, verbal and presentation

· Ability to solve complicated problems

· Ability to work on diverse tasks

· Familiarity with Design for Environment concepts

· Knowledge/experience with waste treatment and/or process systems

· Knowledge/Experience with TD/HVM fab process engineering, waste treatment and/or process systems would be an added advantage
