Job Description—Technical Procurement
Responsible for technical procurement, usually for mainly direct (mechanical and electrical) and indirect materials relating to production which is more complex or of greater significance to the organization.
To assess and develop new potential suppliers and to maintain the supplier database to be most competitive in market;
Call for bid and quotes, evaluate vendors' capability, quality, reliability and price competitiveness, negotiate with/award contracts within specified spending limits, and develop new qualified sources of supply.
To be responsible for contracting, ordering, following up order/delivery and payment arrangement for purchased goods
Evaluation and management supplier by audit on site, purchasing agreement and quality agreement. Optimize and document purchasing management process
Help supplier to improve the internal management and push supplier continuous improvement, in order to meet the quality, delivery and cost saving target
Work with management to identify cost negotiation and pricing opportunities for margin improvement
Implement continuous observations of markets and competitors in the area of responsibility
Optimize the procurement related procedure, educate internal people to acknowledge global purchasing manual
The required integrity and adherence to compliance and code of conduct of the company
Position Specification:
Bachelor degree or above, majoring in mechanical manufacturing, supply chain management or project management +5years working experience
Good Logic and systematic, strategy thinking, risk control awareness, result oriented, and timing management skill, pro-active working attitude;
Experienced individual contributor with considerable understanding of work concepts, principles, and practices.
Uses complete understanding and wide application of technical concepts, theories, standards, and practices in the field and is expanding knowledge or related disciplines
Strong negotiation, cooperation and communication skills
Excellent knowledge of cost breakdown and capability in cost analysis
Applies analytical skills and independent judgment to develop innovative, practical and consistent solutions to a wide range of complex problems
Business English Level is a needed
Proficiency in SAP MM and PO Handling, Microsoft Office with strong Excel skills
