Major Duties Performed (Main Functions)

• Provide statistical methodology and project management support in the delivery of standard and custom studies.
• Determine how a data set can best be projected to represent a larger population.
• Monitor changes in the market that would necessitate changes to IMS statistical practices and performs impact assessments to determine the exact result of the change and its statistical significance.
• Monitor and report the accuracy of IMS audits over time.
• Set up and review quality control procedures to ensure they remain appropriate and recommend changes as needed.
• Validate that quality control processes are performed as specified and may ensure staff has adequate understanding of quality control procedures to interpret results and make appropriate decisions with the data.
• Responds to complex client questions (directly or via client service) regarding data accuracy, trends, data content (what is included and excluded in the report).
• May manage or mentor team members.

Minimum Education, Experience, & Specialized Knowledge Required:

• Bachelors or Master's degree or equivalent in Statistics, Mathematics
• A minimum of 4 years of experience with a Bachelor’s or a with a minimum of 2 year of experience with a Master’s in operations research, market research, or applied statistics.
• Basic / advanced SAS programming skills
