Job Description
? Technical Service
Technical service on routine basis and troubleshooting for plastics (PE/PP) pipe customers. Responsibility of Quality and Claims.
? Business development:
Develop Long-term strategy for plastics (PE/PP) pipe business regarding to standards, testing/certification, to ensure TOTAL plastics (PE/PP) pipe grades continue to be among the leaders in the plastics (PE/PP) pipe industry in China and Asia.
Maintain active exchanges and relationship with end-users (Gas/Heat/water companies).
Active participation into Industry seminars to promote TOTAL image and make benchmark in plastics (PE/PP) pipe business.
? Communication: Be effective and good cooperation with business managers, lab, both in China and EU. Be active member in the R&D team for next generation grades.
? Analytical work : Conduct analysis of competitor products. Provide technical evaluation on plastics (PE/PP) pipes and resins to help new products development and propose ideas for TOTAL improvement.
? Documentation: Update products database, write development reports and all related documentations
? HSE: Take the HSE lead in POL Orient internally and externally with customers.

Candidate Profile
? Master or Ph.D degree in Polymer Science/ Chemistry/ Chemical Engineering/ Materials Engineering.
? At least 8 years working experience in plastics (PE/PP) pipes industry.
? Technical knowledge/skills in plastics (PE/PP) pipes injection and extrusion, as well as lab/testing abilities.
? Fluent English is a must. Verbally, listening and writing.
? Good interpersonal skills, strong communication and reporting skills.
? Frequent travel in China/Asia is required
