-           Responsible to translate research prototypes into production quality deliverables; communicate with physicist and translate their needs into production quality codebase. 

-           Implement software applications, including architecture, design, unit testing, validation.

-           Contribute to design decision and discussions with project teams. Translate user requirements to software requirements.

-           Responsible for software quality, including documentation, risk analysis, and testing support.

-           Develop within Agile philosophy and Scrum methodology for non-research activities.

-           Provide technical support as required for field escalated issues

-           Participate in activities for improving engineering practices, tooling, infrastructure, and other quality system processes and deliverables.

-           Understand internal and/or external customer base to develop knowledge of customer business needs. 

-           Assists management with the technical evaluation of issues, including alternatives, risk assessments, and recommendations.

-           May include responsibilities for technical team coordination

-           Actively provides coaching, guidance or direction.

-           Interface with customers and vendors as necessary during the product development cycle; support field services on complex technical issues.

Job Requirements (skills/experiences/Qualifications):

-           Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics or a related field of study.

-           Software development experience in one or more general purpose programming languages in a desktop or web environment including but not limited to: C#, C++.

-           Solid understanding of software engineering disciplines, practices, and techniques

-           Familiar with Windows development process and toolkits.

-           Working proficiency and communication skills in verbal and written English.

-           More than 5 years’ experience in software development or equivalent abilities.  

-           Good problem solving skills and good at trouble shooting
