Scope, objective and relevance of position :

For the domain of ADAS / Automated Driving & Parking / ICV, C-EF32 virtually develops functions and technology for the Chinese market. It has to be assured that the technology field is competitive and complient with the Chinese law and standards & regulations.

For the domain of ADAS / Automated Driving & Parking / ICV, C-EF32 is responsible for the process, methods and tools in China. It has to be assured that the technology field is competitive and complient with the Chinese law and standards & regulations.

Key Tasks:

Ensure function quality and project quality incl. Functional Safety

• Track development progress of functionalities

• Ensure optimized test quality

• Product delivery with good quality for each start of production by monitoring performance of team

• Ensure milestones of ‘full function’, bug-0 and approvals

• Able to identify priority and critical issues during the project process, and able to give guidance to team members

Technical implementation of process, methods and tools

• Legally compliant IT adaption to China

• Implementation of local process, methods and tools

Stakeholder communication

• Receive escalation from Technical Expert or development engineer or test engineers, and decide on adequate actions with relevant parties

• Responsible to deliver comprehensive status reports to division head, project coordinator and technical expert

• Communication with other functional team leaders, suppliers and Volkswagen Group for overall project strategy

Quality and skills:

Education:

• Phd or masters degree in engineering

Professional experience:

• Minimum 1 years automotive business or related field recommended
