Job Purpose:

The Deputy Technical manager reports to the Technical and Performance Manager, will support the later for technical trouble shooting and seek for technical solutions for existing and new businesses. The Deputy Manager will review regularly operational performance of plants and feed back to plants. He or She will provide support and guidance on actions to improve performance. The Deputy Technical manager will promote innovation, support lean management and knowledge sharing (via REX).

Responsibilities:

·         Review performance of plants and provide feed back to plants

·         Coordinating improvement/innovation projects of operating sites

·         Lead the cooperation with universities on research topics

·         Support both business lines on business development

·         Support the Technical & Performance Manager on adhoc assignments.

Requirements:

·         Master’s degree in science / engineering or above

·         Minimum 5 year’s experience in plant operations, ideally including Operations Management, Process & QHSE.  Preferentially in municipal waste management or recycling.

·         Can work with multi culture environment, and experience on oversea projects is preferable
