Job Objective:

To manage purchasing related activities and communication with defined suppliers, according to agreed service levels and defined business processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage both EDI and manual purchase order entry.

• Re-plan and manage supplier backlog in line with demands and supplier agreements: confirmation, reschedule, cancellation and reconciliation.
• Communicate with Supply Analysts with the suppliers on a daily basis regarding the supply situation.

• Communicate with the Suppliers regarding purchase order backlog, shipping and tracking information: track and prioritize urgent shipments.

• Be accountable for receipts from the suppliers and resolution of shipping discrepancies.

• Ensure correct receipt of supplier invoices and resolve discrepancies.

• Monitor supplier on-time delivery.

• Occasionally participate in meetings with suppliers as required.

Key Requirements:

• Material planning background.

• Process driven with strong problem solving skills.

• Good communication skills suitable for both internal and external communities.

• Can effectively cope with change and be comfortable with ambiguity.

• Ability to respond rapidly and professionally to the demand of a high pressure commercial environmen

• English mandatory both verbal and written.
