JOB DESCRIPTION:  

This position will assist in resolving computing systems problems, infrastructure and network operation issues for ASSA ABLOY China Shanghai office.  Make appropriate judgements from global recommendations to fix issues by reasonable solution to meet the colleagues' satisfaction.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Working in accordance with ASSA ABLOY's IT strategies, standards, policies, and guidelines: 

1. Maintain effectively supporting computer operations, which include back-office servers, LAN/WAN systems, voice & video communications, desktop and laptop configuration and procurement, and e-mail systems.

2. Work with Global IT team to implement ASSA ABLOY PC standards to each client, and make sure all PC and network environments can meet the global standards.

3. Coordinates the operation of application infrastructure support services through implemented service delivery model

4. Escalates customer requests as appropriate; tracks customer requests and communicates back to customer

5. Produce and maintain all relevant documentation, status reports, communications, and service level agreements in a thorough and effective manner

6. Assist China site IT team to resolve the issue in a short acknowledge time with quality service level through ServiceNow platform.

7. Manage fixed assets inventory

8. Follow the global Software Compliance policy and monitor the software installation

9. Manage all the laptop PCs Disk Encryption

10. PC and Server Backup Operation

TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:

1. Strong skills and experience in the following 

  a. PC hardware 

  b. Windows 10, Server 2016 OS and Active Directory

  c. Office365/Teams/Skype

  d. Vmware ESXI Server

  e. Cisco network/security products

  f. Basic ITIL Knowledge

2. B.S. Degree in Information Systems or similar educational background with certification plus five years of experience and strong troubleshooting and problem solving

3. Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and writing of English with technical and non-technical audience.

4. Demonstrated Team Building skills.

5. Ability to work effectively within a geographically dispersed IT leadership structure. 

6. Good English especially in reading and writing, oral is desirable.
