POSITION OVERVIEW:

  

  

Alstom has been present in China for almost 60 years, and footprint covers Shanghai, Beijing, Chengdu, Xi’an and Qingdao etc with a total no. of 550 employees. The HR Business Partner & Talent Development Leader, reporting to China HRD, acts as strategic partner to support the deployment of China Talent Development, and is responsible to implement HR priorities in line business and people strategy, covering culture, people and organization, and provide strategic and integrated HR solutions where appropriate.

  

  

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  

  

• Represent HR in the workplace, build partnership between employees, HR and Managers. Deliver day to day HR supports on recruitment, performance management, employee relations, training and development, etc.
• Drive talent development programs and initiatives designed in China for all sites to upskill both leadership and technical talents and support workforce growth.
• Lead talent acquisition strategy and implement the recruitment marketing initiatives via social media, university relations and other digital channels aligned with employer branding strategy.
• Facilitate talent development and review process in China and work closely with other HR BPs on key talents review, discussion, and support on leadership and talent development offerings.
• Implement and ensure compliance with global and local standards, rules, tools, policies and processes, and share and develop best practice across HR community.

  

  

SKILLS & EDUCATION

  

  

You have proven skills in managing various topics of HR functions and strong business acumen. You have passion for developing the careers of people and brining the added values to the organization you work at. You demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to guide, influence and convince others, while working in a diverse organization.

  

Essential:

  

• Bachelor degree or above with relevant major in HR mangement, business administration, psychology or a related field of study.
• Minimum 8~10 year experience in similar capacity in HR within an international organization
• Written and verbal communication skills in both Mandarin and English
• Strong business acumen to integrate HR and business strategy.
• Good listening skills and ability to relate to, influence, and coach employees at all levels in the organization
• Knowledge in workshop facilitation, design and implementation of talent development programs
• Analytical and strategic competence, and solid problem-solving skills.
