Coupang Global team is seeking a dynamic and motivated Catalog operation Specialist for the Coupang Global business. This person must be entrepreneurial by nature with responsibility for contributing to a positive customer experience on Coupang’s global selection as a part of a fun, diverse, and global-experienced team. The Catalog operation Specialist will be responsible for identifying and targeting brands for products to pursue and ultimately negotiate with the goal to get contractual agreements in place for Coupang Global team into our rocket network. The primary goal of this role is to help Coupang expand relevant selection that our customers want and drives increased loyalty.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research market pricing per item from Coupang’s image competitors and document/file item list
• Driving new item setup process as well as catalog cleansing

·         Communicate with internal stakeholders as well as with suppliers to support catalog management

·         For brands/supplier either newly onboard getting ready to launch or existing brands the individual works together with the brand/supplier to new product launches, etc to ensure inputs are sharp and have best chance to delight customers and deliver output performance

·         Able to balance strategy with strong operational skills - able to understand, deconstruct, streamline and optimize complex, large-scale business processes

Basic Qualifications

·         Able to speak/read Chinese and Korean

·         Decisive and able to move with speed to implement ideas

·         A passionate self-starter, ready to take Coupang’s customer experience to the next level

·         Ability to prioritize work and to find a way in a complex, fast-paced environment

 

Preferred Qualifications

·         Proficient in Microsoft (esp. Excel) is plus

·         Ability to drive business conversation in English is plus
