We’re looking for an Applications Engineer to join the team.

Does this sound like a good role for you?

• In this role, you’d provide technical and engineering insight and direction to support and improve usability, applicability, and adoption of products, platforms and solutions to meet customer business needs.
• You’d diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues during customer implementations —plus you’d deploy and train customers on new implementations and capabilities.
• You’d review, analyze and provide feedback on products and solutions performance from customers and other application partners, working directly with Research and Development (R&D) to develop, implement technical roadmaps, specifications, validation for improvements and enhancements.
• Close partnership with customer technical leaders and sales, you’d identify business challenges, develop effective technical solutions for new accounts, increase utilization and retention of products on current accounts. Enable relevant and advanced methodologies to meet customer goals; leveraging the best in class features of Synopsys tools. 

Requirements:

• MSEE, BSEE or equivalent required.
• Design experiences is preferred which should include SoC design with the knowledge of Verilog/VHDL, physical aware synthesis, DFT, STA and timing ECO, ASIC/SoC back-end design (Place & Route).  
•  Experiences/knowledge in other SoC design field  like low power design, formal verification are strongly recommended.
•  Excellent verbal and written presentation/communication skills are required for this role
• Customer sensitivity, the ability to prioritize multiplex issues is critical for this position. Can-do and caring attitude and the desire to help customers exploit to solve technical problems are essential for success in the position.
