At Higher Ground Education, we're driven by a deep desire to bring about widespread change in education today. To meet the needs of today's students and to bring about true progress in the world around us, we need an education model that fosters independence and develops competent, capable, action-oriented thinkers and change agents. We believe that the key to international education reform lies in modernizing and mainstreaming the hugely impactful Montessori pedagogy.

Since our founding in 2016, we have opened 20 beautiful schools across the U.S. serving students from birth through high school. We have also launched an innovative training organization to fuel our growth. We're on track to open 20 schools in the next 12 months (including our first international schools!), and plan to continue opening 20+ per year. 

About the Role 

 Admissions at Guidepost Guangzhou is to engage and enroll the targeted number of families to Guidepost Guangzhou schools. Responsibilities include engaging with parents through email, call, event and tour to educate a family about Guidepost and Montessori, and meet the target and enroll the number of families as part of Guidepost family.

·       Work with Director of EMC at HGE as well as Head of School to develop, implement, evaluate, and continuously refine the campus’s strategy for recruiting, accepting, and matriculating best-fit students from Guangzhou. 

·       Maintain and use accurate data related to all work and territory management to write summary reports and recommend future actions. 

·       Conduct tours and group information sessions in Guidepost Guangzhou with prospective students, parents, and other interested parties.

·       Perform other duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

·       BA required and fluency in both English and Chinese with international background is highly preferred

·       Track record in meeting aggressive admissions target, especially with new education products

·       Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills with adults and children, among both small groups, larger audiences, and individuals

·       Experience working in diverse, multicultural and multinational communities and work environments

·       Detail-oriented approach with exceptional organizational and project management skills

·       Experience and skill with computer technology including database management, Excel, and Word

·       Ability to work independently without close supervision

·       Willingness to support the development of Guidepost Guangzhou in teams and individually
