Summary

• Manage and assume full responsibility of all electrical, instrumentation and controls engineering tasks related to company’s filtration products.
• Responsible for all aspects of filtration products, beginning with specification development, vendor selection, electrical design, PLC/HMI programming, integrated system test, and ending up with the site acceptance.

 

Job Scope

• Develop electrical schematics, single line diagram, control panel layout, bill of materials and field termination drawings

• Design/Size MV and LV power distribution systems

• Program, test and start up PLC based control system and HMI/SCADA solutions.

• Work in conjunction with the Mechanical / Process Engineer to specify various flow, pressure, temperature and analytical instruments including transmitters, sensors, and gauges, etc. 

• Support commissioning and operation startup of major and complex projects.

• Assist sales team in the bidding stage from electrical and control aspects

• Interface with marketing, application engineers as well as after market team to establish best practices for company products.

• Participate in R&D projects.  Ensure that products developed meet quality and reliability requirements, promote use of new technologies and utilize company best practices. 

 

Qualifications:

• Minimum 4 year Engineering Degree in Electrical Engineering/Automation

• Minimum 10 years of direct working experiences in water treatment engineering company or design institute with primary focus on electrical design, control programming, instrumentation and on-site commissioning.

• Solid programming knowledge on Schneider/Siemens PLC/HMI is a must. 

• Solid programming knowledge on at least one of following SCADA software (Ifix, Intouch, RSView) is a must

• Previous working experience with following product (smart house, non-negative pressure booster) will be highly considered.

• Advanced Excel and Word skills.

• Advanced AutoCAD skill.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Good English skills for speaking and writing.  CET-4 or above
