Job Responsibilities
? Achieve the set financial target at all assigned accounts with focus on Academia, pharma& biotech Accounts and Dealers in Shanghai Area.
? Increase market share in assigned accounts by exploring more new opportunities and conducting more conversions and by developing new accounts.
? Driving business growth in Dealers by working closely with them to handle end user requests.
? Build strong relationships with our accounts at different level as a good representative of Merck.
? Understand the customers’ needs and requirement of products and applications and recommend our solutions to them.
? Understand the customers’ order system, process and platform etc. and design the best process by using internal and external resources.
? Forecast key accounts’ needs accurately and fulfill.
? Track business progress and business opportunities in SFDC.
? Work closely with internal functional group to handle customers’ request.
? Make the report to her/his manager on time and work with her/his manager closely
 
Qualifications
? Bachelor’s degree is mandatory. Master’s degree is preferred.
? Major in Medicine, Biology, Biochemistry, Agriculture, Plant, Chemistry etc. is preferred.
? At least one-year sales experience in life science industry is required. However, Fresh graduates are also applicable if showing great potentials.
? Working experience in managing direct business in Academia universities and institutes is preferable.
? Research experience in biological or Chemical Labs is preferable.
? Good command of Microsoft office software.
? Good command of English in speaking and writing, CET-4 is required.
? Work independently and under pressure. 
? Patient, careful, customer focus, passionate and self-motivated.
? Strong interpersonal, communication/customer service skills are essential.
