Job Description

GENERAL INFORMATION
Function/Department: Supply Chain Management
Position Title: Supply Chain Manager
Name of Position Holder:
Reports to (position title): Plant Manager

MISSION
(Why the position exists)
Develop supply chain management systems to support the business growth. It includes downstream demand management, material procurement with high level inventory control, warehouse management and logistic import and export control.
(What is the expected contributions of the position to the results of the organization)
? To be accountable for On Time Delivery performances; that includes OTDS, OTDM, OTDC2 & ULO
? To interface regularly with Marketing function on demand forecast and order scheduling. Supervise the Production Planning team and manage the Master Production Scheduling
? To optimize the raw material inventory levels to support the production plan, by defining SAP parameters and managing purchasing orders
? To review the CTB (Clean To Build) report on weekly basis, and push the solutions of shortage materials
? To clean and prevent excess & obsolete inventory with other departments
? To drive for suppliers delivery performance improvement (audit, forecast, lead-time and quantity, service level)
? To maintain good working relationship with internal and external customers or vendors
? To control all transportation costs, in terms of raw material and FG (air/sea ratio)
? To be responsible for warehouse management; ensure the inventory accuracy; guarantee the safety; 5S & efficiency
? To optimize the warehouse processes according to SPS and lean principles
? To create weekly and monthly dashboards for each team to track the performances


NETWORK OF INTERACTION Major interaction parties:
(Internal e.g. colleagues, Sales & Marketing Dept, Unions & etc. External e.g. legal advisor, customers, distributors, Clients & etc)






REQUIREMENTS
Education: Graduate from university , candidate with some Lean and Six sigma experience are preferred
Job Related Experience: 1. Candidate must possess excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal skills, excellent functional, project and program management leadership skills, as well as excellent computer, project management and leadership abilities.
2. Candidate must have the ability to interface with and influence all levels of management.
3. Candidate must have knowledge in ISO 9000/14000 Quality & Environmental Management Systems, and must be proficient in Six Sigma and Lean concepts.
Business Understanding: He/she should have experience of at least 5 years in supply chain management and 3 years in manager role in the manufacturing environment of electro-mechanical assemblies and systems
Others (e.g. language skills, technical skills): Fluent communication skill of English
Good MS Office Skill
Good understanding for SAP and other ERP systems
Understand & obey the requirements of EHS(Environment, health, safety)

Must have warehourse and customer service experience.
