Responsibilities:
Design 60%
- Circuit design from conception to release
- Documentation of design and release documentation
- Meet safety and emissions agency certifications
- Work in a team environment to meet design requirements and cost targets
- Establish development schedules and meet committed dates

Process 40%
- Function independently with project assignments and with minimal supervision.
- Exhibit a process-oriented mind set.
- Produce detailed and accurate documentation relating to assigned projects and tasks.
- Develop and implement root cause corrective actions for design or field issues.
- Test procedure design and implement new product validation

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or Master in Electrical Engineering
- 5 - 7 years design experience in large project development, preferably specializing in electro-mechanical product development.
- Proficient in digital and analog circuit design
- Experience in CPLD/FPGA/VHDL/Verilog, Altera or Xilinx
- Experience in microprocessor application, such as C51, STM32 series, freescale, TI, etc.
- Experience in step/DC motor control and sensor application
- Strong hand-working ability: soldering, assembly and test instrument manipulation.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills in English
- Ability to work effectively in multidiscipline teams
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiar with Mentor graphic development platform
- Experience with force electricity
- Knowledge in RFID and wireless certification
- Knowledge in RTOS, such as ucos2, Linux, Vxworks, etc
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Self-directed and organized individual
- A high level of initiative and self confidence
