General Description:
We are seeking an IP paralegal/IP specialist to join our growing in-house Intellectual Property team to support patent filing and maintenance, IP operations, docketing management, and co-ordination with outside counsel. Intellectual property and process management related experience in a law firm or pharmaceutical company is preferred. This position will be located in our Changping office in Beijing, supporting an international team. Working English language and writing is required.
Responsibilities:
?Provide process and document support for patent prosecution.
?Manage docketing work for a high volume of patent filings worldwide and generate related summaries and reports.
?Work with outside counsel to monitor and manage deadlines.
?Manage patent related file wrapper/hard copy documents archive.
?Work with outside counsels and vendors to manage patent annuities.
?Support inventor management, including managing onboard/departure record, assignment of patent rights, and inventors’ remuneration, etc.
?Support trademark and domain name management, as requested.
?Support IP operations and guideline improvement.
?Provide IP support to company business activities.
?Schedule meetings, prepare meeting agenda, and write meeting minutes.
职位要求：
Computer Skills and English Skills:
?Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint etc.
?At least CET-4 for English
Other Qualifications:
?Process management and IP related experience in Legal firm and/or in-house are preferred
?Highly effective communication skills (both verbal and written).
?Fluent English required.
?Detail-oriented and conscientious.
Ability to be flexible and willing to accept new responsibilities as needed.
