Our customer is a U.S company, the world’s premier provider of standard-setting systems and device components for parenterally administered medicines. It is building new plants in Shanghai Qingpu Industrial Zone.

Job description:

Work closely with production & engineering team, plan & review plan to ensure a good match of Production schedule & purchase schedule.

According to purchase policy & procedure, plan & place PO, taking into consideration of established manufacturing lead time & costs.

Assist in the material purchasing, inventory & shipping receiving activities.

Support supplier management, including supplier audit, vendor rating, risk management, performance measurement etc.

Create & maintain supply chain records.

Closely follow up on-going PO, report & solve potential issues/ problem at earlier stage.

Support inventory management to improve inventory turnover.

Anaylise orders to determine purchasing requirements, report findings, make suggestions for further management decision making.

Updating the open PO status on regular basis with production & engineering team.

Good understanding of ERP ( SAP ) system, and Working in compliance with QHSE requirements

Qualifications:

BA degree with good English level.

5-8 years buyer or buyer planner related working experience

Good communication skill, hard working

Some analytical skills

Good spoken an written communication skills
