6+ years’experience in commercial software development after receiving the BS degree, or equivalent years with higher degrees.

Ability to architect vertical slices of an enterprise level software based on  J2EE architecture, or a horizontal layer of such software.

Hands-on J2EE solution experience, including EJB, O/R Mapping, XML, JMS and transaction configuration. Proficient with Clustering, JMX, JCA, Web-Services, and AOP-related techniques.

Proficient in architecture-level technology on presentation layer frameworks such as STRUTS, JSF.

Experience in software development processes, including implementing major improvements.

Fluent in English.

Able to travel to client site, often in the US or Europe.
