At Seismic, our architects play a keyrole in leading the development and execution of technical strategies andprograms. They are hands-on technologists that enjoy exploring emergingtechnologies, prototyping and developing proof of concepts, as well astechnical leadership. They collaborate deeply with engineering in an agilesoftware development life cycle and provide guidance in improving code qualityfor product at scale.

?A strong technical background to quickly understand the complexities of enterprise SaaS product

?Ability to handle and solve complex issues in systematic and creative ways

?Strong leadership capabilities that elevate the skills and output of an engineering team

?Effectiveness in collaboration across global technical and non-technical teams 

?Ability to implement software development best practices that encourage high levels of security and performance

?Ability to leverage modern software architecture, design patterns, and solutions to increase value of a strong platform

?Ability to effectively architect for greenfield products/features, but also manage existing code bases

What you’ll need to besuccessful:

?A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent 

?8+ years of experience software development experience

?3+ years of technical leadership

?Knowledge of Agile development methodologies

?Strong ability to communicate concisely and with precision, in English

?Clear and coherent written communication, including visual representations of data, in English

?Experience with microservices preferred

?Experience with global engineering teams highly preferred
