Country Controllership Associate Manager

Support in preparation of data and analysis to be presented to the Country Controller Lead. Provide updates on cost and bill rate tables and create country's financial reports in accordance with relevant local and global accounting standards, meeting internal and external deadlines. Coordinate, analyze and prepare data on the country's financial management and statutory statements to ensure they meet all requirements. Work in collaboration with other local finance teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the controller lead in special projects pertaining to their geography as needed, reviewing and evaluating complex specific accounting transactions/treatment/GAAP difference and providing requested support from other organizations within Accenture on significant accounting transactions and/or business events
• Assist the controller lead in standardize the accounting and reporting process of acquired companies, ensure the quality and compliance of financial reporting, coordinate for internal and external audits.
• Manage multiple functional areas in day-to-day controllership operations (Tax expert, Treasury, accounting shared service center, global controllership and technical team, Deal team etc.)
• Prepare relevant compliance from set up to integration stage of acquisitions for Country Controller Lead to review and approve
• Prepare monthly/quarterly/yearly financial results with local relevant finance teams, for review with the Country Controller Lead
• Assist the controller lead to monitor the liquidation process of companies
• Review various journal entries/adjusting entries over the relevant thresholds as per policy

Skills and Proficiency Expectations

• Bachelor or above degree, major in accounting or finance is preferred
• AICPA/CICPA/ACCA qualification is a must
• Excellent oral and written skills in English
• Over 4 years’ working experience with multinational companies or Big 4 accounting firms
• Be familiar with SAP system, Experience in acquisition accounting and post-acquisition integration is preferred
• Accounting experience of manufacture company is a plus
