Role and responsibilities:

? Act as a consultant for the use of Data Analytics to drive business decisions, business strategy

? Translating business needs to technical requirements and implementation

? Do something about cleansing, manipulation, feature extraction and analysis on data sets

? Apply data science approaches and methodologies (such as Neural Nets, Bayesian methods, SVM etc.) to improve business outcomes Initiate ideas and develop related model with R, Python or Scala

? Design elegant data visualizations to present complex analysis and insights to customers with Tableau or other related tools

? Effectively communicate with leadership and other various levels of the organization

? Collaborating actively and effectively with other people to accomplish project objectives

Job requirements:

? Strong mathematical and statistical background (modeling, statistics, analytics, math)

? Bachelors/Master’s degree in computer science or mathematical

? Familiar with commonly used data mining algorithms (i.e. classification, clustering, regression, association rules, neural networks, etc.) and its principles, and is able to discuss past project experiences at length

? Master 1+ analytic tools, such as R, Python, sas, spss

? 2+ year experience in data mining related work

? Have implemented more than two whole data mining projects

? Implemented data mining project independently

? Developing models and carrying out quantitative analytics independently

? Design elegant data visualizations to present complex analysis and insights to customers

? Knowledge of SQL

? Master 1+ Database, such Oracle, SQL Server

? Knowledge of data visualization tools, such as Tableau, or advanced usage of Excel

? Experience in solving analytical problems using quantitative approaches

? Speak, read and write English perfectly and skillfully

? Strong ability of learning

? Preferred if familiar with Scala

? Preferred if have experience in using Spark or Hadoop

? Preferred if have knowledge of Big Data / Hadoop, RDBMS, Data Warehousing
