Position Mission

Providing legal advice to ensure compliance with legal requirements, and reduce exposure to legal risks.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

1. Framatome China (China Headquarters)

• Draft and prepare the BoD files and Shareholders files;

• Record, follow up the BoD files and Shareholders files;

• Draft, review, modify and translate contracts;

• Record, follow up and file contracts;

• Draft, modify, translate and follow up the legal documents;

• Search, update and provide the laws and regulations upon the requests of other departments;

• Legal support and advice on the investment of Framatome in China and the reorganization of the companies, esp., the duly communication with the stakeholders involved;

• Provide proactive legal assistance and advice on various legal issues;

• Participate in, provide legal assistance and follow up the administrative formalities;

• Liaise with the external counsel;

• Search, negotiate and liaise with the service providers related to the legal department;

• Follow the update of the relevant laws and regulations.

1. Framatome Subsidiaries/JVs/Projects in China

• Provide the professional support and advices to the subsidiaries, JVs and the project negotiations;

• Participate in Framatome Projects in China: contracts, negotiations, advices etc;

• Review and modify the contracts upon the requests of the subsidiaries;

• Contact and communicate with the subsidiaries.

1. Other projects or tasks assigned by management

   To implement, communicate and localize the compliance policy and procedures of Framatome and to organize compliance training from time to time per needed;

 

Education required

• Bachelor degree with major in Law;

   

Experience required

• >5 years legal counsel experiences in foreign investment companies, and experience to deal with joint ventures;

• Proven experience in project negotiation;

• Language proficiency in both oral and written English, French is a plus;
