Your
responsibilities:

- Conduct R&D work in the direction of innovative composite material, insulation material, thermal management material, new processing technology, manufacture for smart device. Deliver technology for ABB Power Grid's next generation products.

- Communicate with business lines to clarify market expectation and identify project stakeholder.

- Investigate technical feasibility and develop new technical solutions in the lab.

- Collaborate and support all ABB Power Grids business lines.

Your
background:

- PhD or experienced MSc majoring in material or processing

- Experience in one of the following areas is a strong plus: mechanical engineer, CFD simulation, data analytics, AI/ML.

- Solid knowledge background and abundant project execution experience

- Capable to run project independently with excellent project planning, execution and management

- Outstanding communication skill, ownership, and capability of analyzing for solutions

- Self-motivated, result-oriented, willing to be an open-minded team player

- Fluent English as working language
