1. Basic Purpose
Project Manager and Member of the management team of the Project "Site expansion China"(later called: Manager)
In this function the manager is responsible for the engineering & construction parts of the project and reports directly to the Senior Project Manager. This function does include necessary budget and cost spending responsibility for the respective phase of the project.
GMP and EHS aspects of technical projects are essential part of the duties. It will be his task to identify risks for non-compliance, safety, environmental performance.

2. Roles & Responsibilities
Lead daily activities in the project management and construction management for project panda with :
1. Responsible for project execution including schedule, cost, quality and safety controlling
2. Ensure critical deviations are identified, investigated and resolved. Identify and communicate risks for deficiencies observed and do propose improvement measures in an early state.
3. Review and assess adequacy of corrective/preventive actions
4. Monitor the completion of corrective/preventive actions
5. Have a mindset for continuous improvement identify and share best practice
6. Be focal communication point between employees and contractors
7. Support other functions with systems and know how during the whole project phase in order to assure the transfer from the project phase into the routine production
8. Support establishing and continuously developing best practice systems in China
9. Conceptional input and preparing structured decision basis for Senior Project Manager and Project Director
10. Support the establishment and implementation of standard operating procedures
11. Identify risk mitigation strategies and develop pro-active measures to prevent negative consequences for by conducting
12. Risk assessments and gap analysis
13. Support other functions in China Operations to achieve their targets and to support the total targets of as a corporation

3. Knowledge and skill requirements
Knowledge
1. Master' s degree in engineering with background in chemistry, pharmacy, as a minimum a batchelor degree is necessary,
2. Minimum 5 years of experience in a GMP regulated environment
3. Expert knowledge of international standards and best practices. including but not limited to regulations
4. regarding Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and local Chineses design & construction guidelines and regulation
5. In-depth knowledge of how to communicate with project players and satisfy project stakeholder
6. Fluent in written and spoken English
7. It would be preferred to have already international experience.

Flexibility
1. Normal Business hours or as fixed by departmental requirements.
2. If required flexibility to work additional hours for projects and tasks
3. Mobility in regard to frequent travel is a prerequisite. Must be able to travel both nationally and internationally
