Our customer is an European company, as a global specialty chemicals leader, is headquartered in Shanghai. With more than 15 companies in China specializing in the production of performance materials (Polyamide), functional chemicals (Novecare and Silcea) and services (Energy Services; and a global R&D center, where more than 100 scientists create innovative products in the automotive, electronics, home and personal care, oilfield and agricultural formulations fields.



I – JOB IDENTIFICATION


JOB TITLE :Sales Manager(Senior Sales Executive)



II – BASIC PURPOSE


· To achieve the annual sales target defined by the regional business team
· To establish and manage customer relationship especially with the direct customers (multinational and large local) for the Coatings business
· To continuously explore new business opportunities with existing key customers as well as with new customers
· To implement action plans guided by the Coatings market strategy
The job holder is required to cover geographical areas under the Rhodia Shanghai office’s responsibility (North and East China) and will report to the China National Sales Manager for Coatings market.

a) To achieve Coatings sales targets and business objectives defined by the regional business team
b) To provide quality business forecast (annual Spring and monthly rolling forecast)
c) To identify, develop and commercialize new business opportunities
d) To enhance market intelligence by providing feedback about customers, competitions and market trend for China Coatings business

V – MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES

In a series of brief statements describe the main accountabilities of the job (4 to 10 maximum), i.e, specify the major activities of the job and their consequences in terms of end results.

To sell and promote the range of chemical products to the area(s) assigned and to achieve the targeted sales turnover
To visit on regular bases current and potential customers and to maintain good relations with direct key customers
To provide customers, particularly end-users, with adequate commercial and technical services and to ensure that the products and services provided meeting the customers’ satisfaction
To collect and analyze market information (such as market trend, competitors’ activities, prices, ...etc.), and report such findings to the management and propose solutions for new business developments
To participate in other sales and marketing activities, such as trade exhibitions and technical seminars with active contribution
To work closely with local and regional business teams and respond to their needs
To handle claims and complaints from customers with appropriate actions
To be actively involved in the collection of overdues payments
To use SMART for visit reports, opportunities capture, complain form and submit monthly report, on time six-month rolling forecast, sample and opportunity follow ups




Qualification and Experience
· Degree in Chemistry or chemical engineering(熟悉涂料助剂等特殊化学品市 场)
· Communicates well in English both oral and written
· Experience working for MNCs and cross functionally to achieve results
