Senior Finance Controller based in Shanghai

Job Responsibilities:

· Accounting - Monitor the accounting treatment in BUs to be in line with the group policy and assist in the month-end /year-end closing process, provide solutions for accounting issues;

· Reporting – Review the regular reports in SAP system and ensure the timely delivery and accuracy; prepare the consolidated reports of China region for management review;

· Financial analysis - Prepare the monthly internal analysis to track business operation, monitor business performance by plan/actual comparison of budget positions, support management with the analysis of financial data and development of improvement measures;

· Budgeting - Fully support and monitoring in coordination and participation in the annual budgeting process, perform overall budget analysis to ensure the data logicality & accuracy, monitor the budget flow and ensure the timely delivery;

· Internal control - Establish and monitor the guidelines for the operational cycles, lead review of key policies and process of identifying missing / inadequate key controls;

· Communication - Acts as a liaison among China entities and other group companies.


Job Requirements:

· Bachelor Degree or above in accounting/finance or related fields;
· Minimum of 8 years experience in accounting, reporting and financial analysis. Experience in manufacturing industry a plus.
· Good command of China GAAP and group financial reporting requirements; Preferable with knowledge in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
· Strong managerial, interpersonal, communication and project management skills
· Strong initiative and ability to manage multiple projects as well as strong follow through skills.
· A proactive, self-motivated and dynamic person, able to work under high pressure
· Fluent in English and Mandarin
· Excellent Excel and presentation skills
