Position: Senior Officer, Scientific Liaison
Work Location: Shanghai
Reporting to: Manager, Science Liaison

JOB OBJECTIVES:
1. Identify Potential partner
2. Build up the R&D cooperation with company procedure
3. Keep good relationship with academic society and industrial association
4. Innovation Management

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Share some impact on the goal achievement of the business unit/function. Major impact on the sub unit and assigned work area.
2. Under general supervision and follow established procedures and standards.
3. Technical scouting, market intelligence and competitor monitoring (Collect, analyze, summarize and report the required information in field of material science related.
4. Facilitate the establishment of the R&D cooperation with global and local R&D groups
5. Responsible for the organization of scientific events (academic workshop, seminar, forum etc.)


REQUIREMENTS:
1. PhD degree in field of polymer science and engineering or relevant Master degree with at least three years research working experience.
2. Fluent English both in oral and writing.
3. Good in communication and coordination with internal/external partners, service oriented, good analysis and summarize capability in technical fields.
4. Good ability to work collaboratively with other team members towards mutual objectives.
5. Good experiences in reviewing academic literature and scouting technical information in the internet.
6. Good analytical thinking for identifying key issues and relationships, patterns and connections buried in a mass of information.
7. Quick learner for new technologies and ready for accepting new challenges.
