Objectives of the position
1. Provide technical solutions for single or multiple research assignments using existing and new technologies and methods;
2. Contribute to technical development and knowledge gain for BASF on respective research fields.

Representative Main Tasks:

1. Under supervision of lab team leader perform routine scientific research tasks using standard techniques, procedures and equipment;
2. Analyze and document results, prepare technical reports, examinations and summaries;
3. Prepare, run and maintain lab equipment such as reactors, analyzing equipments, etc.;
4. Perform general lab assignments (e.g. raw material inventory review, lab house-keeping) as assigned;
5. Comply with regulations concerning safety, health and environment;
6. Adapt and optimize methods and procedures according to the project requirement
7. Contribute to technical solution finding process within the scope of existing technologies and procedures;
8. Gain and maintain familiarity with relevant current scientific literature;
9. Actively contribute to technical solution finding process with new technologies and procedures instruct, supervise and coach less experienced lab team members on assigned tasks.

REQUIREMENTS:
1. Doctor or Master or Bachelor or college degree with at least 2 years working experience in chemical lab in Chemistry / Industrial & Applied Chemistry / Chemical Engineering / related ones;
2. Above 6 years' experience in personal care industry including scientific experiments in chemical labs (including study period);
3. Technical & Professional Knowledge: Fluent English (reading, writing, and speaking).
