Description

Manage a talented team of hardware and software engineering program managers in Shanghai, Kunshan, and/or Chong Qing, China. As the focal point for supply chain quality, the team needs to lead activities across functional/regional boundaries - ODMs, R&D, SC, TCE, Regions. Responsible for resolving and communicating on all supply chain factory/field quality issues as well as driving prevention actions for future products.

Key responsibilities include:

•Leads internal/external cross functional Issue Resolution Teams to drive containment, root cause, corrective action, prevention.
•Define and lead projects to drive systemic process improvements to reduce issue TAT
•Publishes clear, concise, and thorough executive issue summaries.
•Establishing & managing ODM failure analysis and engineering capabilities
•Manage factory SW readiness/issues
•Establishing and maintaining key cross-functional internal and external relationships.

Qualifications

Education/Experience
•BS degree in an EE/ME
•5+ years of industry experience
•5+ years of project management and team management experience

Skills/Attributes
•Experience with management of contract manufacturers and suppliers
•Solid experience with manufacturing process, factory test and design validation
•Great leadership skills and ability to inspire team members
•Excellent communication - Ability to filter and distill relevant information for the right audience
•Self motivated and proactive with demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities
•Teamwork: the candidate must be able to fit in well with a team, understand capabilities and priorities while fostering a collaborative environment
