Details:

Develop domestic and international labeling (IFU, service manual, labels. etc.) for Smiths Medical products.
Use working knowledge of Technical Communications concepts, domestic and international regulations and standards, product specifications, and customer requirements to design and write new technical or instructional documentation.
Be primarily responsible to support projects originating from Shanghai R & D Center.
Revise existing labeling to correspond with product changes. Ensure labeling is reviewed and approved according to company policies and procedures.
Develop new product labeling, manuals, and instructions for use which meet customer, regulatory, legal, quality, marketing, engineering, and clinical requirements.


Responsibilities:

Develop new product labeling, manuals, help systems, and instructions for use which meet customer, regulatory, legal, quality, marketing, engineering, and clinical requirements.
Collect information, such as specifications, service and maintenance methods, technical descriptions and operating techniques
Produce photographic pictures of operating products or something else and have them illustrated
Maintain current product knowledge and update domestic and international labeling accordingly.
This position is required to assure compliance of Company operations to all applicable laws, regulations and standards, good business practices and company documented procedures (including but not limited to FDA, Quality Systems Regulations, ISO 13485, ISO 14001, government occupational health and environmental regulations and statutes).


Technical Knowledge and Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Business or Technical Communications or equivalent education and work experience. Minimum of 2-3 years technical writing experience.
Knowledge of medical device regulations as they relate to labeling requirements.
Good knowledge of written and spoken Chinese and English.
Demonstrated technical skills using Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop.
l Excellent verbal, writing, and editing skills.
l Diligence in meeting tight deadlines.
