The ALME CHINA Team Operation Manager is a critical role in supporting the ALME business developing in China.. He will work together with the ALME global operation team and local operation team to ensure that our products and services meet customer’s requirements in the whole China.

Job responsibilities:

Assets management:

We have many special assets such as ISO tank, Pump, diving gas quads, lifting frame, Membrane unit and dry ice equipment to service our customers. These offshore assets have different standards with land. Below detail will be done by him/her.

• Regularization of assets sent to China: 

• verification of assets numbers, contracts with ALME validation, proper costing taken into account on ALC P&L, follow up and back charge of storage fee to ALME UK head quarter.

• planning and process for demobilization of these assets, and send back to country of origin (if needed)

• Dashboard to follow use of assets in China (yet to check the relevant indicators)

• utilization rate

• actual invoice / potential invoice

• Development of processes to import and export assets to China

• Regulation, Processes, Documents, Cost of reference

• SOP for maintenance of the assets in China as per ALME guidelines 

• Forecast of assets needed and demobilized: keeping the forecast file up to date

• Develop new assets(match Classification society standard) in China to decrease cost 

Supply chain management: 

We have some special chemicals and equipment to service our customers. Finding internal and external suppliers and getting the best cost is critical for us.

• Get the best cost from supplier, ALME and domestic BU(PAG and BOS) for offshore project

• Optimize the process(logistic, production, assets utilization) to decrease the operation cost

• Work with operation controller and regional assistant to insure put the right cost into cost report

Project management and customer service: 

Offshore business is usually project-oriented. Understanding project requirements and ensuring project execution are critical. So he/she will do:

• Find the resource from internal and external and work with other relevant dept. to insure offshore project implement base on customer’s requirements

• Work with the project and technical dept. of the customer to make clear customer’s requirements.

• Provide the proper solution to match the customer’s requirements

• Make the ALOS service list to sales team every month

• Handling customer complaint and make action plan

• Ensure action plan will be implemented       

Job Knowledge, Skills and Experience required for the position

• Educated to degree level (Bachelor and above)   

• Minimum of five years of experience in operation or project management, oil and gas preferred

• Good communication skill

• Good English language skills(verbal & written)

• Knowledge of Classification society standard

• Knowledge of importation of exportation
