The role requires great team player with experience in working in highly collaborative, Agile/SCRUM environment using Test Driven Development methodologies. The role requires the engineer to design, develop and debug mobile applications for iOS or Android. Work in a devops model for the company’s latest SAAS product. The role may also involve interacting with users to define system requirements and troubleshoot problems.  Specific responsibilities include the following:

? Develop and enhance Cordova based hybrid mobile applications for iOS and android Mobile devices (phone and tablet) using Angular 9, and Typescript.

? Develop and enhance the native mobile application Cordova plugins for iOS and/or Android Mobile devices (phone and tablet).

? Incorporate use of enterprise applications in Java/ J2EE with REST based web services.

? Design and develop for secure device storage and app to server communication using security standards, encryption schemes, deep linking, OAUTH2 and OIDC.

? Design and develop applications and web services that asynchronously interact with cloud applications.

? Lead activities for decomposing product requirements into tasks and associated estimates.

? Mentor the team on the best techniques with respect to debugging and troubleshooting issues.

A qualified candidate will have a bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Electronics or Electrical Engineering and 5 to 10 years of industry experience.  

Experience must include working with: 

? Programming in java script preferably in Angular 9, NodeJS, and ES6/Type Script.

? Programming on one or more of the following Mobile and tablet platforms: iOS (may have Objective-C or Swift experience with iOS) or Android OS 9 and above; 

? Experience with programming in Java/ J2EE with REST web application development technologies.

? Has worked with Firebase and Apple Push notifications services; 

? Authentication protocols (OAUTH 2.0 and data encryption technologies; 

? Good knowledge of Unit Testing and code coverage processes and tools like XCTest, JCoco, SonarCube. 

? Must have worked with versioning tools like  GIT and BitBucket server.

? Must have worked with XCodebuild, Jenkins, Gradle and Artifactory. 

? Must have worked with app to app communication technologies like deep linking and universal links.

? Must have worked with mobile application APIs for Geolocation, Networking, Application SQLite database, Encryption, Camera and Photo library. 

? Must have good knowledge of XCode, XCode Build or Gradle and Android Studio.

? Must have good knowledge of app signing processes.
