POSITION SUMMARY
Our client is a major developer, designer and manufacturer of blowers, compressors, pumps and other high quality industrial equipment for sectors like environmental, automotive, chemical or electric power.
POSITION DESCRIPTION
Reports to : General Manager
Responsible for the entire lifecycle of a project to ensure it delivered on time, within budget and with quality.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- Participant project meetings as necessary to provide platform for communication between project members, follow up with action items, and escalate the critical issues to responsible parties and ensure appropriate solutions
- Leading the supply chain meetings, and make sure the right suppliers are identified and each sourcing progress of each component are on schedule
- Manages the sourcing deals, contracts, delivery and quality for a complete procurement cycle, ensuring the commercial and cost saving benefits are realized at the P&L level and ensuring on time delivery with the suppliers.
- Ensures the complete follow through of project supports from managing the product/supplier sourcing to execution to supplier delivery and quality
- Daily coordinate with the Engineering Department and Production Department (oversea and China), and ensure the necessary support to supply Chain team.
- Timely report the project progressing and potential risk management
- Maintain the accurate project records by daily update
- Reviews and negotiates supply contracts, subcontractor agreements, and other terms and conditions
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- At least three years Engineering experience especially on mechanical aspect
- At least three years experience on global sourcing
- Two years experience on project management is preferred
- Excellent English skill on both oral and written
- Strong communication skills and team work spirit
- Self- motivated, and able to drive things forward even in hard situation
- High level proficiency in MS office and MS project
