职位描述
POSITION SUMMARY
To handle day-to-day shipment arrangement and documentation collection, preparation and distribution ensuring consistent quality service is provided
To communicate with customers & various local service providers including warehouse operator, trucking companies, Custom Broker, and/or other relevant parties for shipment arrangement
To facilitate shipment booking & movement in accordance to company guideline and Customer's specific SOP
To maintain and constantly improve the business relationship with customers, shippers, suppliers and other shipment related parties
To coordinate and work with other departments ensuring an efficient workflow and smooth communication
To support the Customer Service Lead and Manager in team development
RESPONSIBILITIES
Follow standard operating procedures established
Handle booking from shipper. Provide booking guideline to customer. Verify the completeness of the booking form. Collect all relevant information & documents for booking set up
Communicate with overseas agents/office to confirm booking arrangement and continue to provide shipment status update
Handle order with trucking company for shipment pick up and custom clearance
Provide accurate and timely information to customers
Prepare local charges quotation
Provide support & solution to customers
Handle enquiries from other team members or departments to ensure smooth communication & provide a timely response
Other duties as assigned to the position.
REQUIREMENTS
College or above.
Maritime, international Trading, Business Administration subject is preferred.
At least 3 year customer service or ocean operation experience in freight forwarding industry
Familiar with Microsoft office software
Good command of English, Mandarin & local language
Familiar with ocean export process
Details & customer service oriented
Hardworking, able to work independently
Good communication skills
Strong sense of responsibility
Self-discipline and honesty
Team player
Willing to learn, improve & take up new assignments
