Department Description

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Act as Development point of Contact and team manager for Suzhou development team
2. Create technical design specifications based on functional designs
3. Convert design specifications into high quality working code within allocated budget and time frame
4. Ensure quality of deliverables by adhering to project standards
5. Conduct code review of programs written by peers
6. Perform unit and system integration testing
7. Resolve system bugs and errors identified during all phases of testing
8. Resolve service requests raised by customers according to defined processes and within set timeframe
9. Communicate and Coordinate with teammates and other teams in resolving issues.



RELEVANT EXPERIENCE and TRAINING

1. Possess M.S. degree or PhD in Computer Science / Operations Research
2. 5-8 years of combined work experience in software development
3. Prior Project management/ engineering management experience
4. Good understanding of relational database design, Oracle RDBMS and normalization
5. Working knowledge of algorithms and efficient data structures.
6. Background on object-oriented design and development
7. Knowledge of the software development lifecycle and methodology, advantage Agile/Scrum experience
8. Good understanding of application development in a multi-tier environment
9. Experienced with enterprise Java applications development (J2EE), C/C++.
10. Strong problem solving and debugging skills / techniques.
11. Knowledge of forecasting, data mining technique an advantage
12. Understand complexities around processing large volumes of data.
13. Creative, has initiative and able to work independently
14. Good command of spoken and written English
