Responsibilities岗位职责

• Use in-house software to monitor, identify and locate wire breaks and other acoustic anomalies within pipelines.

• Assist with updating maps for maintaining location accuracy (test impacts)

• Develop and update auto-classification trees for pre-sorting data

• Communicate with operators/project managers on matters of critical wire breaks, construction, and map accuracy

• Respond to High Event of Interest Alarms and escalate as necessary

• There will be pre-scheduled occasional work required on the weekends and/or holidays to respond to any event alarms that may come up.

• 使用自有软件监测、识别和定位管道内部断丝信号以及其他异常声信号

• 协助更新地图，确保断丝定位准确（监测有效性测试）

• 针对预分类数据，开发和更新自动分类树

• 就重要断丝、结构和地图准确性问题与运营商/项目经理沟通

• 处理高风险事件，必要时上报

• 有时周末/节假日会安排工作，处理可能出现的报警情况

Qualifications / Requirements专业素质和要求

Required Education and Experience学历和工作经验

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer, Network Engineering, Surveying & Mapping, Water & Wastewater Engineering and Hydraulic Engineering or related disciplines.

• Knowledge non-destructive, acoustic techniques desirable.

• General pipeline knowledge or experience an asset.

• Computer, networking and operating system knowledge

• Experience in troubleshooting and maintenance of data acquisition systems an asset.

• Methodical and analytical with problem solving situations. Organized and able to prioritize various tasks in order to meet deadlines.

• Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.

• Can accept request of overtime work on the weekends and/or holidays if required.
