Main Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for the GL books of Greater China entities
2. Along with the GL Manager and other internal GL accountants, work closely with the outside business partner to ensure all GL responsibilities are properly dispensed
3. Work with outside business partner to ensure:
a. Timeliness and accuracy of financial reporting
b. Review reasonableness of the month end GL account balances and ensure all account reconciliations are performed
c. Compliance with USGAAP, Tyco policies, audits and local regulations
4. Ensure proper document procedures and controls to support the GL transactions and balances
5. Maintenance of Chart of Accounts
6. Identify areas of improvement within the ERP system in producing financial reports
7. Be the subject matter expert for GL and initial point of contact with outside business partner on issues of the ERP system

Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
? Accounting degree with > 3 yrs of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a MNC environment
? Good oral and written communication skills in both English and Mandarin
? Knowledge of accounting and regulatory practices of China would be an advantage
? Mature individual who can interface with internal/external customers of all levels
? Organized, time-sensitive & results driven

? Understanding and exposure/experience in a MNC environment
? Experience/exposure in working with outside partners desirable
