Description
:
- Analysis and debug of customer problems with i.MX ARM based products, during both customer product development and production ramp, including on-site visits.
- Silicon evaluation/development board design and test including driver and unit test code development
- Interface with the R&D team on continual development, integration and release verification activities.
- Generate application notes and present technical training seminars to distribution field applications engineers and customers.
- Cooperation and interaction with many different disciplines including customer is required.
Qualifications
: - 4-8 years of experience in settopbox, mobile devices, PND, AVN solution development and strong hardware/software debug skills are required
- Working knowledge with device driver development for host interfaces such as SDIO, SPI, Wi-Fi, BT in Linux and WinCE and Android for ARM9/ARM11/Cortex A8/Cortex A9 processor.
- Schematics and PCB Layout. Experience on Cadence tools, Allegro, Orcad is preferred.
- Software (MCU or DSP): C/C++ is required, Assembly is desired. System-level thinking and problem solving skills are required.
- Experience with new hardware brings up using digital oscilloscope, logic analyzer, and JTAG debuggers.
- Experience with debug device driver issues using simulators, debuggers, in-circuit emulators, etc.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, good teamwork adaptability, self motivated, good oral and written English & Chinese (Mandarin) skills.
