About the Business

• Financial Advisory (FA) practice of Deloitte China provides strategic and financial advisory services to clients throughout all phases of the economic cycle. FA comprises several distinct but related global service lines whose shared principal objective is the creation and enhancement of shareholder and stakeholder value.

• Originated from Monitor Group's Regional Economic Competitiveness practice, and under Deloitte Public and Government Service (GPS) global service line, Regional Economic Advisory (REA) makes tangible impacts on regional economic prosperity, by providing end-to-end solutions covering full life cycle of regional economy:

• Regional strategy that informs priority industry clusters that fit regions factor conditions

• Regional promotion that attracts target enterprises, talents, and capital that make up the priority industry clusters

• Project management support that fill the capability gaps of clients' in implementing the regional strategy, including investment attraction activities, policy recommendation, target introduction, capital market and fund advisory, and project management office (PMO), etc.

• With recent acquisition of premium spatial planning and architecture design capability, REA focuses on strategic positioning and business models that optimize economic and social values of a region (as opposed to a property or building). Increasingly, our clientele are health care providers, cultural and creative industry giants, high tech companies, and hospitality operators, etc.

• REA's clientele includes governments, economic zones, investors, developers and operators of industry, commercial and residential real estate, and leading enterprises looking for attractive regions for geographic expansion, restructure, and relocation.

Work you‘ll do

• Help client make confident decisions based on analyses of available information to manage critical business threats

• Lead engagements and provide strategic direction to the team to deliver a superior client experience

• Develop relationships, establish credibility with, and instil confidence in clients

• Comprehend how the client’s business works and keep up-to-date on industry/sector trends and leading practices

• Actively manage the Firm’s risk from take-on through to completion of engagements

A fit for the role? Let's talk about you.

• Toptier MBA / Bachelor degree in any disciplines

• Minimum eight years of strategy formulation experiences from top strategy and/or innovation consulting firms

• Preferably with regional planning experiences but not a must

• Native Mandarin language skills at native level
