Responsibilities:

Deeply understand internet services and update systems configurations to enhance reliability and performance.
Requires heavy hands on involvement contributing in scripting/automation and large scale web server farms in various datacenters.
Work closely with the Developers and QA team to ensure efficiency on product releases.
Manage the High Noon cloud environment.
Deploy fully automated build/package/verify/push cycles for the server side components.

INFO-JUNKIE - You keep up to dates on security issues, automation and reporting technologies that allow you be the first-to-know about any problems with any of the systems you're responsible for.

Minimum Skills

Substantial experience administering and performance-tuning of Linux systems and clusters, DNS/DHCP, Cobbler, Puppet, Apache/Nginx, MySQL/PostgresSQL/Redis, Perl/Python/Ruby, Zabbix/Nagios, Bacula, SAN/NAS
Good knowledge of release engineering tools and processes.
Strong Problem Solving Skills in Linux environment.
Scripting in Bash, Puppet, Python or PHP, regular expressions.
Proficient in written English, we have to keep the wiki up to date.
Experience with Hudson/Jenkins CI solutions and Cloud Management, RightScale is a plus..

Preferred Skills

Prior System Administration and Web Administration Experience.
Good knowledge of TCP/IP networking, load-balancers, DNS and caching.
Developing monitoring infrastructure for applications monitoring.
Prior experience in developing capacity planning and bench marking infrastructure.
Performance Tuning (Linux, Networking, Web).

Preferred Qualifications

3 to 5 years of industry experience.
BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent.
