Category Sourcing Specialist

Position Summary:

l Develop local Category Sourcing Strategy.(Majority focus on Event, Congress, etc, professional service area)

l Plan and execute local sourcing projects through sourcing methodologies in order to continuously improve total costs, service and quality for indirect materials&services spend in close spend in close collaboration with the stakeholders

l Develop and implement local supplier relationship management programs for local key suppliers in order to improve continuously the local key suppl.iers performance to Roche in close collaboration with the stakeholders

l Ensures uninterrupted and efficient flow of indirect materials & services for the site/affiliate while minimizing inventory

l Develop and manage contracts ensuring that all contracts are legally adequate

l Ensure that execution of the projects are in compliance with the Pharma Procurement Policy, Directive, Guidelines and local Procurement SOP's

l Participate and support global sourcing projects and/or global supplier relationship management projects

Primary responsibility

l Dedicated category market research and study, understand market trends and best practice(Majority focus on event, congress, etc. professional service area)\

l Communicate with stakeholder and operation managers to understand the customer's needs, share best practice and market trends

l Develop local sourcing strategy, manage local sourcing projects in close collaboration with the stakeholders to provice convenient Sourcing platform

l Participate and support global sourcing projects and/or global supplier relationship management projects.

l Monitor sourcing project status and supplier performance metrics.

l Ensure adherence to the pharma procurement policy, directive, guidelines and local Procurement SOP's

l Develop and manage local contracts and ensure that all contracts are legally adequate (particular GMP and confidentiality agreements) and keep company secure

l Manage local key suppliers and establish local consistent collaboration, communication and issue resolution

l Optimize supplier enablement in the procurement system(catalogs, contaracts, e-business)
